Dear Patients,
only one dose of MMR vaccine is given in the GP practice with subsequent doses being managed by HSE / schools. If you want to check yours or your child`s immunisation status, please check their orange book or call the Vaccination register: 046 9076 485. We do not have this information in the surgery.
If you were born in Ireland before 1978 you most likely had measles.
If you have had two MMR vaccines at least four weeks apart, both given after first birthday, you are considered immune and no further tests or jabs are needed.
