First booster clinics will be held on 22nd, 23rd and 29th December.
Dear Patients,
because of rapidly changing situation we decided to run Covid booster clinics. Realistically we will not receive all deliveries (vials and all equipment needed to administer vaccination) before Christmas. Therefore the clinics will be run most likely on 29th, 30th and 31st of December. There will be on-line booking system. Link will be sent via text messages and also will be displayed on our main webpage on 27th December.
Any patient age 50 and older will be able to receive flu vaccine during booster appointment as well (subject to supply restrictions).
Any change to dates of clinics will be posted here.
Few important points to notice:
- We will be vaccinating patients of Strand Medical Practice only.
- Any patient over age of 16 will be able to register.
- If you got your 1st and 2nd vaccination outside of this surgery (Mass Vaccination Clinic, Pharmacy or abroad) you must present your vaccination certificate.
- You have to be at least 3 months after your second dose to receive a booster.
- If you had Covid after your second dose the soonest you can get a booster is 6 months after the diagnosis.
